For Media Coordinator - Chris Bleeke
My name is Chris Bleeke, and I am an undergraduate student at Rutgers University. I am scheduled to graduate in 2009. I am majoring in Music Education, and this field of study suits me very well. I compose, listen to, and play on several instruments a vast amount of music from all different genres. I have had experience playing in wind ensembles, jazz bands, and orchestras early in my education. I am also active in sports such as basketball and ultimate Frisbee.
I believe that I make a fine candidate for the Media Coordinator position of NJCMENC. I believe that more links should be added to the NJCMENC website that lead to information regarding auditions for Area and Region Band, and other information that music educators in New Jersey may find important. I also believe that members of the board as well as any other members should use the available forum to its full capacity as a place for discussion about what can be done to NJCMENC an even better organization. I will also be open for other suggestions and ideas on how to make the website for useful to the organization itself and those who refer to it.
